A Place to Call Home
When I picture my home I don't think about bricks, drywall, and rooms. I really think about my family and all the beautiful memories we have created in it. Family movie nights, where we spend our nights cuddled up on the couch eating popcorn and watching movies or sitting at the dinner table sharing our day. Moments like that are where I feel most at home. Just like my family says, “home is where the heart is.” What I'm trying to say is that my home means a lot to me, it's there when I need a place to get my feelings out. My home is where I go when I'm at my lowest. I can be myself there and feel safe. Everyone deserves a place to call home.
