A house is home

A house is a building and a place to live A home is a safe place, and a place to sleep Home is where I bike and have fun Home is where I make memories At home I play in the snow and make snow forts At home I play in my pool, which makes me nice and cool A house is a place to have fun A house is a place for everyone My home makes me feel safe when I stay up late It has a chair and table for food on my plate My home means so much to me And it makes me feel safe A house doesn't have to be big or small But a home is a place to make memories for all At home I feel happy and safe And I am so lucky I have a warm or cool place to stay I am also very lucky, to have clean water coming from the taps I am happy to be participating in the habitat for humanity contest I love my home so much and I think everybody deserves a home.
