What Home Really is
Home is a place where you feel safe,
It is not the things inside.
Home is a place that you desire,
It does not have to be big and wide.
Home is a place that you should love,
There’s a lot of things you can do.
People may jeer and laugh at you,
But home will always be there for you.
Home is comfort, a safe-house, a guard,
Home is the place where you will feel best.
Home is there if things are hard,
Even if your teacher is checking your test.
If you have a home then you should feel blessed,
That is why we have a mission.
To give the poor a home,
To take this competition.
People who have no homes are wasting away,
They’re feeling mighty sad.
That’s why we’re writing,
To wash away all the bad.
I hope the mission succeeds,
This poem is coming to an end.
I hope my greatest wish will come true,
It’s time to say goodbye, my friend.
