What Home Means to Me
My home is very important to me because it cools me down on scorching summer days/nights, it keeps me warm on chilly winter days/nights. I have been spending a lot of time at home and I have noticed how hard it would be to have no home, I am incredibly grateful to have a home and you should be too. Some people have giant homes like mansions, mine in particular is a little bit small but at least I have one. I love my family a lot. And I am lucky to have a family who cares about me.
I have lots of fun at home with my best friends Kaylie and Sylvia. I mostly spend time in my room because it is extraordinarily fun there, and... I feel safe in my room and that is what really matters. I like to go to the dining room too. That is the room I feel safe in the most cause my family stays in there a lot and we play board games, and lots of other stuff, I remember this one time my power went out and it went out for hours, and hours. It was midnight of course so we could not sleep. We sat at the table and turned on a flashlight and we played board games, like Telestrations, Exploding Kittens, Clue, etc. We were laughing and my brother kept winning all of them, but my dad got so mad after a while because the power had been out for a while, then after that chaos, the power came back on.
One more thing, I feel safe, and I feel like my home is important to me because it is full of love and happiness, and humor. I love my family so much.
