My Home
My home is special.
It brings my family together.
I walk to my door, I feel safe forever.
I walk inside, it feels warm and safe.
Like a dream with no end, like a heart with a cape.
My room.
My comfortable bed, the smell of my books.
I love it too much, no matter the looks.
I’ll have it forever, forever it’s mine.
It’s a bright, happy place, like a star with a shine.
My kitchen.
The smell of the muffins, my mother will bake.
And if it's my birth-day, a delicious cake.
My plate of a meal, it’s just so good.
I wish I could share it, with the whole neighborhood.
I’m lucky.
I’m lucky I have my home, a bed and a meal.
A feeling to feel, love that can heal.
But others do not, they don’t have a lot.
So I have to help, give what I’ve got.
