What home is to me!

Home is more than just four walls, It has family and friends combined in one! Home is where I learnt to walk and run, Home is where I learnt to talk and have fun! Home is where we love, make smiles and tears, Home is where we shall never ever have to fear. Home is where we are never judged, Left with us to not grudge. Home is where I sleep each night, Knowing that everything will be alright. Home is a shielded place, Secure and safe, no doubt about it! Home is where it stands bold, Resilient against even the harshest cold. Home is where we make a mess, But in the end we come together with finesse. Although my address might change throughout my life, My greatest memories of home will remain without strife. For those who can’t rest under a roof as the sun sets and the moon rises, we will be thinking of them all the time. Let’s come together with our generosity, to build homes, full of defense and serenity. Everyone deserves a home, big or small, The poor and the rich, the young and old, the short and tall. My hope is to spread awareness, To build homes for the homeless. This is what home is to me.
