HOME

Home isn't just a place, it's a space where I’m safe. Home is like a star in the sky that shines brighter than others. My home isn't perfect and it might be small and it's different from others but that’s okay cause that's what makes it special. It's my home and I'm happy to call it mine. My home might be old with cracks in the walls but it still holds my mom, dad, and brother. In this small house my pets come and go. Some don't stay long, some live long happy lives. In my house there's ups and downs but everyone sticks together. My home has big windows to let all the sunshine in. I've never moved from this small, tiny house and I hope I never will. The reason I wrote this poem is so I could give others the chance to feel what I'm feeling. No matter if your home is big or small, it will always fit your memories.
