The meaning of home

My puppy greets me at the door. Coming home to smell my mom’s cooking. And the dog barking makes me feel safe. The sound of my mom's jokes makes me feel right at home. My room, The smell of my warm and cozy blankets. And the led lights above my head. And the sound of my brother playing fortnite next door. And playing online games with my friends. Backyard, Watching the squirrels and birds playing on the birch tree. Swinging on the hammock. As the leaves flow in the nice warm breeze. And playing fetch with my dog. Evening routine, As I eat my mom’s yummy home cooked meal. I start to wind down in the evening. I get in the nice warm shower. After that I settle down, brush my teeth and go to sleep. Not everyone has a home. Food on the table. A nice place to put their head. Warm showers and cozy pajamas. You should just be grateful for what you have.
