My home

My home, my home is where I am best My home, my home is where I can rest My home, my home in one neighbourhood My home, my home is where it stood My home, my home was not very tall My home, my home I knew would not fall My home, my home is a feeling not a place My home, my home is something I embrace A home is different from a house you see You could have multiple houses, you could have one, two or three But a home you can only have one of a home makes you feel safe and sound and secure A house is just four walls around you A home is somewhere that danger can’t surround you Home is where i’m with family My mom, dad and brother all three My home just means so much to me and I bet that applies to everyone you see. I wrote this poem in hopes that more people will get a place to call home.
