What Home Means To Me

That place is everything Without it, I wouldn't have anything That place builds up my character Protects me like a barrier It’s a place where I feel safe Where I can practice being brave It’s a place where I have freedom Like my own kingdom That place is my happiness key Where I can be the true me It’s a place where broken souls get healed And painful cuts are sealed It’s a place where the heart is warmed where my negative emotions are tamed That place is where I have my roots And kindness is as common as fruits It’s a place that we depend A place that’s worth to defend Everyone deserves that place Where everybody's heart is smothered with grace That place is called home.
