The meaning of home A home is a place where you can be safe. Everybody should have a home. When you are in a home, you can feel safe and happy. If you don’t have a home, it’s probably cold and wet. Animals have homes too. They make their own homes. If bears didn’t have homes, they would probably be cold. If kids sleep on the street, they probably don’t feel safe. If you were homeless, life would be hard.
