What Home Feels Like

To me home is where I feel safe and protected. I feel comfortable no matter what happens to my house. And when I am home I feel protected from the bad things outside. Like, when there is a storm I feel safe in my home. Sometimes I feel like my home is safely hidden from bad things. When I am at my house I know that I won't need to be scared. When I am at home I know I'm safe. I feel grateful for my home. My home is where I feel loved and cared for because I am with my family. When I am at home I don't feel shy like when I’m in public. At home I can be myself. And it doesn't matter if my home is big or small. At my home it is where I can do so many things like learn and play the piano. My home may not be perfect to some people but it is to me because it holds many special family treasures. A home is so special because a lot of people don't have homes like I do. Whoever doesn't have a house should have a home because they deserve it so much! All kids deserve to have a home to feel safe. Another reason is that people need a house, because when it is cold outside they will be warm. When people have a house I feel happy. If everybody had a house that would be great. I feel sad for people who don't have a home. I’m happy to do my small part to help someone who needs a home.
