Meaning Of Home

Home is a place to feel safe and feel loved, a place that you can come back to at the end of the day and always feel worthy of yourself. It’s a place to feel supported for any decision you make. To me home is more than a bunch of rooms and a bed to sleep in, it’s a place to feel good about yourself and feel that you’re in a good environment. It gives me a place to feel sheltered and know that I’m protected. Even if I had a bad day, home is a place to be surrounded by people who love you and it could be more than just your parents (friends, siblings, cousins, etc). A bunch of people view the word “home'' as their house, a place run by their parents and a bunch of rooms with furniture but It’s really just somewhere to be surrounded by people who care and want to be around you. To me home is my house, dance, school and many other places. Everyone views their home differently but to me I view my home as a safe place and I feel that everybody deserves to have a safe place to come back to at the end of the day.
