What home means to me

In my home there is my mom, my sister and me. We have dogs named Buster and Callie. We also have a cat named Peaches. In my home we have a dining room table where we all eat together. At the dining room table we share about our day. In my home I have a bed to sleep on, blankets to keep me warm and pillows to rest my sleepy head. In my home we have a living room where we have family movie nights. In the living room we have our toys that we play with on the carpet. Outside I have a skating rink that we like to play hockey on. I love the home I live in. My home means a lot to me. It makes me feel comfortable. My home makes me feel happy. In my home I am free to talk about my feelings. If I am sad, worried or anxious, I am able to talk to my mom so we can figure out a solution. My home is my special place. When I am old enough to move out, I hope that I can have a home like my Moms. A home that's supportive. My home is helpful and fun. My home is most importantly full of love. Even though I have been through a lot and moved a few times, I will always choose my home. I hope everyone has a home like mine.
