H O M E four simple letters, one great meaning
Before my home was old and rusted,
It was full of crust and dust,
There was no love or laughter,
There was only some clatter.
A house is just walls and beams,
There was no hopes or dreams,
As time disappeared,
There was less and less fear.
The more we gave the house love,
We were like doves,
Flying in the night sky,
We would never want to say “goodbye.”
Everyone needs a roof over their head,
Everyone deserves something to sleep in like a bed,
A house is necessary, but a home is important,
And the love in the house will be historian.
The world is not always kind,
But your heart is, and those thoughts come from your mind,
This life is too short,
To spend it in court.
A home is not a building,
It is where you are living,
You are lucky to have a home,
In my book everyone needs a home.
