HOME

It is necessary to have a home because you need a roof under your head. Without a house, you’ll be freezing during the winter and you’ll be wet when it rains. Without a house to protect you from the sun, you’ll be hot and sweaty. With a house, you’ll be safe and protected. My house is very important as my family lives in our house, we always spend time together in our house. I've lived in my house for the majority of my life and I always have a good time in my house. When I’m at home, I have a roof over my head, memories of me and my family and my home. I can smell baked goods from my kitchen. I can taste freshly cooked food. I can feel and touch my comfy bed and blanket in my room. And I can hear songs on our T.V. When I think about people who are living on the streets, I think they probably think that they want a home. Especially during winter, they’re going to be cold, they could die of hypothermia. It’ll be very hard without a home in the winter when temperatures are below freezing. It is important to take care of themselves during winter. When I think about someone who doesn’t have a home I think that the person would want to have a home and not a van to live in. When I think about his family’s situation it must be hard for them especially living in a van. You don’t have enough heat when it’s winter and not enough A/C in the summer because you can’t keep the van running. It is not good to lie either. Lying can get tiring and could get you into serious trouble.
