What Home Feels To Me

Home is a place where you should be loved, cared for, and you should feel warm. As we all should feel that but, not many kids are lucky, so I will be telling you what home feels like to me. Home feels like a bundle of tangled Christmas lights. You don't know if you're untangling the lights or making it worse. But you still try to untangle them until the job is finished. As I feel like the lights, I feel tangled up, but cared for. Home is a place to feel nice as I do. When I'm at home I feel strange but happy. I feel like a warm sweater, or a kitten sleeping. Sometimes I feel like a frightened cat or a cold dog. I feel strong, I feel weak. I feel awake, I feel tired. What I feel at home is in between. I feel scared, I feel proud. As in my home I have a small room and sometimes I feel when I'm sleeping the walls are caving in.
