What Home Means to Me
To families all over the world who don’t have a place to call home.
Most people think a home is just a roof with four walls. Well, those people are wrong. A home is a place where you can be yourself and be comfortable.
Where you don’t have to be like others around you. Home is a place where you can express your feelings and feel safe.
Habitat for Humanity is a company that doesn’t just give people a place to live, it gives them a place to be a star and shine bright without having to worry about being embarrassed.
Home is a place where you can be free to be whoever you want to be, where you can feel like you belong and like you can do anything without anybody judging you.
A home is a place where you have lots of memories that you can share with people around you.
Home is a feeling that only you can understand, where you can feel warmth.
A home is a test where there are no wrong answers, and what I mean by that is there is no wrong family for a house.
When I feel sad, my home is there to guide me through the tough times, and when I am struggling to fit in.
When I feel happy, my home makes me come alive and helps me become able to do what nobody else has done before.
When I feel frustrated, my home helps me calm down and makes me feel really relaxed.
In conclusion, a home is a feeling of joy, love, happiness, and compassion that I think everyone all over the world should experience, so that they can feel like they belong to, not just to a community, but to the whole entire world.
