What Home Means To Me

People say home is where the heart is and I believe it to be true. I have had to move houses a lot but I always find I settle. Home is where I find my family. Home is where I know there's a roof over my head. Home is where I have my nice and warm bed. Home is where I have got shoes on my feet. Home is where I know there's food to eat. Home is where I find my pets. Home is where I can hide from the outside world. Home is where I can find my plants. Home is where I can share horrible jokes and still laugh. Home is where I can feel safe. Home is where I can feel protected. Home is where I can feel at ease. Home is where I can feel like myself. Home is anywhere my heart is. In my mind home can be everywhere your heart is. Home is where I am supported to be the best self I can be.
