Home sweet home

What does home mean to me? Home to me is that one place where you always feel safe. The place where you can be accepted for whoever you are. Where there is no judgement. The Place you go when you're having a bad day. The place you always feel welcome and comfortable no matter what.The place where you bake cookies and they always smell good that you sneak one. Where we can make mistakes but are always forgiven. Home is where you have a roof over your head and a hot meal on the table. During lockdown being able to stay home has kept me safe. I have been able to enjoy the comfort of my own home with my family. It is impossible for me to even begin to imagine what it would feel like to not have a safe place during such a challenging time. At the end of the day home is where I get tucked into bed and say my good nights. Home is where hugs are free and always given. No matter where you are in the world your home will always be there. Home to me is my happy place!!!!!
