Home For The First Time

Feeling Scared in my New Home Let me tell you about the time when I moved to a new house. I felt scared when I went into the house. I wanted to hide and bury my head in my mom’s black dress. I went upstairs with my mom and saw that I had a pink bed and a nice window. I could see the sky. My bedroom was nice and cozy. We ate some supper and went to bed. At night, it was so dark. I fell out of my bed with a bang! and I cried. My mom came and picked me up she said, “‘You are brave and don’t be scared of the dark.” She put me back in my soft bed and kissed me lovingly. I felt happy and scared at the same time. I thought of the words my mom said. I am BRAVE. I slept through the whole dark night. When I woke up, I smelled a good smell. It was pancakes. I ran quickly down the stairs and sat down at the table. I ate five of the pancakes. I love my new home. I am no longer scared.
