Meaning of a Home
This is what a home means to me:
A roof over our heads.
It keeps you safe from a storm.
Your house keeps you warm and cozy.
You can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the table for you.
You have a door to lock at night.
You feel safe when you are sleeping.
You have family coming over for holiday dinners.
Family gathering`s.
You can have friends come over for sleepovers and birthday parties.
You can watch TV with your family and friends.
Habitat for Humanity knows that a safe, decent, affordable home is fundamental to a family forging a path out of poverty. In a Habitat house, families find better health, more financial freedom, independence and a stability and security that far too many families simply can't achieve without a helping hand.
