My Home
My home is a safe place to stay, I'm happy every day.
My home is where I live, where I'm free, where I've grown.
When you first came into your home, you take your first breath, your first step and a thought saying, "This is my home".
As you grow, you create memories, ones that you'll have for centuries.
You live under a roof, with food, with family and you're happy.
But some people are not so fortunate, they live in an orphanage, on the streets or on the sidewalk.
This is their home, they live without money, friends and family.
When you see a homeless person, starving, burned/freezing and wearing torn clothes, you yourself realize just how lucky you are to have a home.
How grateful you are to have a roof over your head, food to eat, clothes to wear and a bed to sleep in.
This is when you realize the true meaning of home.
This is why we donate, so they can get a home and not be alone.
Even by writing on a page, we are making a very big change.
