What Home Means to Me

Not everyone has a home like the more fortunate. We all must be thankful for the homes we have. This is what home means to me. A home means a place of memories, a place where you can find happy memories and sad memories. Home is a place that we all love, a place that comforts us. It is a place we can go to if we are happy, sad, angry or nervous. Home is where I can eat, cook and bake in my kitchen. Home is where I can be warm in my room, playing with my sister and making videos. A home is nothing compared to a house. A house is just a house, no emotional feeling about it. A house is just a place for people to live in, nothing special. Home is a place to have fun with relatives. Home is a wonderful, meaningful, and special place. Home means you and me. Home means being loved and being comforted. A home means... to be with your family. As I said, not a lot of people are lucky enough to have a home, that’s why we must be thankful and take care of it. As they say, “Home is where that heart is.” That is what home means to me.
