A HOUSE or a HOME?

Your home is yours. It doesn't matter where it is. Your home can be anything you want it to be. A home is somewhere that you're comfortable and happy and loved. You should feel safe and free in your home. Your home is not complete until you and your family are in it, because you are the ones that make a home. A house is a building, but a home is filled with love, laughter, pets, memories, and special things that make you smile. Everyone needs a home to make memories in. A home is somewhere to have fun. A home is a place to do anything you want to, a home is a place to be silly or mad. A home is a place to take a break. In my home, we dance and play games. We cook and bake. We watch movies and read books. My favourite part of my home is my bedroom because it is mine and I can decorate it any way I want. I love our swimming pool and yard to play with my friends and my dog in. I help make our house a home by listening, helping, being kind, and always loving. In my home we share things and help each other out. We are always encouraging each other and never telling anyone that they aren't good enough or they can't do something. A house is a building but you need to work together to make it a home. I hope everyone has a home to make their own. Be patient and loving and your house will become a home!
