Home is more than a House

The meaning of home is more than a house. It could be family or friends, a comfortable blanket or picture and sometimes the taste of your family's food. You could also have a home away from home like a cottage. I am going to tell you about homes away from homes, how classmates can feel like family and how homes have changed over the pandemic. A home away from home Some people may have several houses, such as with their dad, their mom and sometimes a house with their grandparents. Others might have a cottage but might not live there fully. It could be a campsite or a building that could be completely not related to a house but it feels like you could stay there and hang with friends and family. Homes don’t have to be a home to feel like one. Any place your family resides is home. You might not be related or know where they live but when you get to know your classmates they can feel like family. School might not have a bed or or a living room but when friends surround you it can feel like home. Homes have changed over the pandemic. Your home could feel more empty or feel much more full. You could feel almost trapped from being inside or comfortable from being with family homes. Your household could have arguing or parents getting laid off. Homes have definitely changed and sometimes change can be bad but sometimes it can be good to see your family more often. Homes might not be where you live like school can feel like home and homes have changed over the pandemic but it is important to realize some people don’t have homes and if you do have homes you should be grateful.
