The Meaning of Home

Can you imagine not having your cozy warm home, or even a house? That’s how some people have or had to live, so just listen up because I’m going to tell you why everyone DESERVES a home. What do you think is the difference between a house and a home? The people who love you make a house a home because they make you feel safe and cozy. The people who love you make you feel happy and loved. The people who love you support you and help you deal with all sorts of challenges. Another thing that makes a house a home are family memories because they are something that belong to you and only you. Family memories remind you of all the celebrations and events you conquered as a family. The last thing that makes a house a home that I will talk about is family pictures because they remind you of all the things you love in your family. What is it that makes your home important to you? These are three things that make my home important to me. The first thing is my family. The reason that I chose this was that they are always caring and they support me. I don’t think anyone wouldn’t want their family next to them all the time.Secondly, I think it would be my pets. The reason I chose this is because they always listen to me when I need to talk. They stay by my side when I need them most, and are big and small, scaly and furry. Lastly, it’s got to be my stuffed animals because they are my favorite audience when I do little plays in my room. They are cute and cuddly and you can have all sorts of animals you couldn’t have as pets. Do you think everyone deserves a home? Well I certainly do. Everyone deserves a home because a home is where you can feel safe and happy. In your home you should be able to turn on the tap and have clean drinking water and places that you can easily access food and have it fresh. You should also have space and a roof that keeps you safe from the weather. Now do you understand why you’re so lucky to have a home? That’s why everyone DESERVES a home but so, so, so, many people can’t afford to buy a home. So be thankful that you can.
