What makes my house a home

My home is a place where I feel comfortable, safe and where I go to take a break. My family will always be a part of my home because they share my home with me. They make it feel familiar, because they are always there at the end of the day. If I lived without my family the house would feel empty and dull. My dog is a massive part of my home. I got her when I was 4, and she is a part of my family. I picked the colors of my room because yellow is my favorite and it makes me feel safe. My parents are home designers, so my house is very pleasant to be inside of. I live in a peaceful neighborhood that enjoy being in. I’ve lived in the same place my entire life. When I think of home even if I move I will always think of the house I live in right now. If I do move it will take me some time to make it home even with most of the aspects that make it home right now. When I have a bad day all I want to do is go home and see my dog. When I go to university it will feel strange. I will be in a different city, and I will be in a small dorm room. I won’t be with family or pretty much anything that makes it home. It will be very different but I will have to make it home, because any house can be home if you make it home. Home is a very special place for everyone, but not for the same reasons as me. My home is one of my favorite places in the world.
