The Value of Home

The Value of Home The value of a home can be measured in years. Through happy times and joyful smiles, through sadness and our tears. The value of a home can’t be measured by its size. A home looks like a house, but that’s just its disguise. It’s where we feel so safe and sound and our story will begin. Where birthdays and traditions will all be found within. It’s worth cannot be assessed by anyone but me. My home is full of warmth and light, and my family. Home may be in a country, or a province, or a town, But it’s moments shared, and meals prepared, where home is truly found. It’s laughter and it’s dreams, the things you cannot see. Our feelings, growth and learning, these things in life are free. A lifetime of memories I’ll cherish for all time. My safe place and my comfort zone, you can’t offer me a dime. This house I have is priceless, it holds my lifelong tale. My house, it is my home, and It’s simply not for sale. I may grow up and leave it, spread my wings and learn to fly, But I’ll return to a place called home, I’ll never say goodbye. I recognize its value as it holds my hand and heart. A place both made of bricks and love, a place I’ll never part. My home is quite unique, so I’ll keep it very dear. The value of a home will be measured through the years.
