What does home mean to me?

Home. It could mean lots of things. For some, it could mean a person's house. But a home can be much more than a pile of bricks and concrete. Usually when I think of home, I think of a place with nostalgic and old (but happy) memories. Last year, I moved into a big, new & spacious house, and sure, it was great! But after a while, I thought of all of the pronounced recollections and noticed that the small & old apartment was better! Because while still in the apartment, I could revisit these memories. But now that I don’t live there anymore, all the greatness of where I live is gone! And because of that, I prefer my old apartment over the new house. To me, my home isn't the building. It’s everything in it. The reminders of all the reminiscence, like the friends I made, the pool in the lobby, the building managers! What makes a home complete are these sorts of things. Happiness and nostalgia.
