HOME Right now I will tell you all about my home. Home is where I feel safe, sleep, eat, and spend time with family. At home I can share my feelings and not feel badly. Home is not just the building, it's the people inside like family and pets. Home is full of joy and laughter, but sometimes we have fights, and we solve them fast. At home I always have someone to lean on. After a cold day I love to come inside and huddle up under a warm blanket, and lay on a cozy couch with my furry cats. While my mom makes delicious suppers, I love wrestling with my brother even though my mom and dad tell us to stop, ‘we're too wild’. At the dinner table we share stories, and it’s also where we laugh. In our shop we shoot bows and arrows at balloons, ‘POP!’ I like skating on my friend's hockey rink who lives on the other side of the river. ‘Clang, bonk, ping!’ they go when we hit the bar. On movie nights we huddle up under a warm blanket. My dad usually falls asleep, but not my brother and I. We stay awake the whole time. I think everyone deserves a home. Lot’s of the people that help build for Habitat for Humanity, do it for free because they believe everyone should have a home too. Love my HOME.
