My Home

Hi, my name is Ivy and I am going to tell you about my home. Home isn’t just a place you go or where you live. It is a feeling; like safe, cozy, warm, and welcome. I live in a very welcome home and community -Wolseley! It’s like a big hug of happy and funny memories wrapped around me. If I moved, I would be pretty sad. In my home, five people live there. Those five people are my family; my brother River who is twelve, my sister Willow she is 4, my mom Lori and my dad Matt. Oh, and our cat Daisy, she’s 7. When you walk into my house you on a long carpet. The carpet is gray with a bit of other colors too. When you go to the left, we have hooks for jackets. We usually call it the music room or the piano room. Well because that’s where our piano is and our other music stuff. When you go to the right there’s the living room. There are a big couch and a TV in there. We like to watch family shows there. Then, there’s the dining room. We eat as a family there and in front of the mirror we also do our hair. The kitchen is right next to the dining room. Our counter is across from the kitchen. Me, Willow and River like to eat breakfast there. Okay let’s go downstairs now. Downstairs is like a big room. We have two big comfy chairs, a computer, a TV and shelves for toys. River keeps his Switch down there too. There’s also a washroom and that’s where our laundry room is. I almost forgot about Daisy’s room. Daisy’s room is like a storage room with Daisy’s food water and bed. Now finally we can go upstairs. Well upstairs is where my family’s rooms are. If you go to the left, it’s my parent’s room and Willow’s. If you go to the right, there is River’s room and if you go straight then that’s my room. Keep going straight there’s the washroom.
