Home's Meaning

Not everyone has a house, but it's not the house that counts; it's the love, laughter, and joy inside. It's the roots of my past and my future; home is the memories that a house holds. Home is the place I will never let go; it's different for everyone, decorated in memories and love; a home is life’s greatest gift. A home will never go away. Home is a warm feeling in your heart, even if it's not visible on someone’s face; it is always there. No matter where you start, you will always have a home in your heart, even if you don’t have a house. Home to me is the familiar smells and faces that surround me, the relief I feel when I come home, the pictures around the house that make me gasp at how little I was and say “oh” when I remember memories; it’s welcome home licks I get from my bunny. In the end, home is more than family; it's part of me.
