Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a safe place where we relax for my family and I. When I come in, I see the place neatly cleaned with delicious food like chicken or cookies. The cookies smell like sweet brownies, on the table. My brother on the couch with a blanket, on his phone watching something on Instagram. My mom is in her room in a meeting talking to people and comforting them because she is a therapist. My dad is studying in the basement taking calls and orders while trying to study. My other brother is in his room doing homework or gaming while talking to his friends. I would just go to my room and sleep until my parents finish. My brothers and I would burst with excitement when they finished. Then we would have a family game night or cuddle and watch a movie, until my family and I falls asleep in a comforting space with the aroma of love and happiness and a touch of safety.
