Meaning of Home

The meaning of a home goes way further than just a structure or a building. It isn’t simply a house, it’s a place of belonging, a place where I live. My awesome home might not look perfect nor super modern, it looks a little mid-modern! In my basement, the light switch only works if you flip it twice. The kitchen table is stained with some batter and sauce from my food experiments. That one drawer in my room stuffed with random things no one throws away. What truly gives a home a meaning isn’t how it looks but how it feels. It can be a small apartment, a crowded house or a single room, but it becomes special because of the safety and trust it gives. After a long day at school, home is where I feel safe, happy, comfortable, and the best parents I could ever ask for making me a delicious meal. Even though my house isn't perfect, I still love it, and to ME, it's perfect, and I love my home and will always love it forever.
