A stable home is one of the most needed necessities as shown in Greek mythology Hestia/Vesta is the virgin goddess of the hearth and home. She took authority of domesticity and family. Like in Greek mythology my mom has taught me the importance of a house like how in this economy it is a privilege to have a roof over one's head. But the difference between what makes a house and what makes a home is about the uniqueness .That makes it cozy and feels like it's yours. For some people it might be the smell of garlic and assortments of spices, the feel of rough and coarse counters with a mismatched sensation that just makes sense. A certain warmth from the vanilla scented candles scattered around the whole house. Or maybe it's the sound of laughter filling the empty space. For me it's all of those things, a spark in happiness that fills my bucket of joy. While I lay comfortably in my room I think about how lucky I am to have both a house and a home.
