Home is More Than a House

Home is the happiness of playing hockey with my brothers. When I get home from school I'm so excited to play hockey with my brothers. When I open my door and see hockey bags and hockey sticks all over the floor, I feel at home. The people in my house mean home to me. Home is a place where I can laugh and have fun with my family. There is always someone to play with, such as playing chess with my dad. Another joy of my home is the scent of my home. Every day when I get home, I take a deep breath and inhale the scent. When I go to see flowers I feel at home. My home is like my safety blanket, wrapped around me. My parents are like my home, they accommodate me in everything. Home is the 35 stuffed animals that my brothers collected. Home is like my memory book, capturing all the fun moments in my house. Almost all my best memories are made at home. All my relatives feel like home. They come to see me often. My house is where I learned to talk and play. It’s the place where I learned to play hockey and ride my bike. It’s where I learned to play soccer. Home is a warm hug grasping me ever so gently. Home is a part of me. Home is where I make memories and have fun!
