What is Home?

“Home” is a place where I feel welcome. “Home” is not just a physical place; it’s a feeling. “Home” is a sense of belonging and peace. It is a place where my family and friends gather. I love home! When I feel at home, I feel welcomed. This is a feeling I have when I am with my family and friends. I do not need the things from my physical home, like my own bed, blanket, and pillows, to feel at home. When I’m at “home”, I feel “Welcomed” with comfort, acceptance, and a sense of belonging. I feel this when I’m jumping on the trampoline with my neighbours, when I’m enjoying dinner at my grandparents', and when I’m playing soccer on the field with my teammates. The exact location and people can change, but the feeling is the same. Home is a sense of belonging and peace. Home isn’t just a space where I feel welcome; it’s a place where you know you belong and can be accepted, just the way you are! The people around you should always be kind and gentle to you. Home is a place for my family and friends where we can all play and learn together. Home is where there is no such thing as a mistake because home is where you learn, and every mistake is a new learning experience. Home is my favourite state of being. Even though I may not be at my own house, I feel at home when I have these things around me. My family and friends make me feel at home; belonging and peace are home; comfort is home. I can feel at home, anywhere! -🄸🅂🄰🄱🄴🄻🄻🄴 🄻🄴🅅🄰🄲
