Meaning of Home!!!

‘’The meaning of home’’? Well, when my teacher Mrs. Ethier told us last week we would have to write about what home means to us, I was really confused because I had nothing to say. I thought home wasn’t special. When I thought a little harder I realized something. Your home is YOU! Let me explain that better. See, when you’re at home no one can tell you what to be and nobody can annoy you (except for siblings, they were made for that). The thing is that when you are home you can be your TRUE SELF and that is really special because not a lot of people feel like themselves in daily life. The most important reason why home is not only important but special is because homes hold memories! Have you ever heard anyone say ‘’hair holds memories’’? Well in the same way your home is like that, In my home I took my first steps, said my first words, and hugged my brother for the first time! I don’t know about you but I personally think that is very special and heartwarming. Everybody should get a chance to experience that and feel comfortable about where they live, because that is special not only on the outside but on the inside. For me personally, I thought that home was just a place where you can take rest and feel comfortable, but now that I have written this I have a better understanding of what home means to me, not only personally but also mentally. I wouldn’t trade anything if it meant giving up the feeling of home.
