To me home is not just the roof you are under or the town you live in

To me, home is not just the roof you are under or the town you live in. Home is the people you are with. Home is the place where you can come to a house full of love. It is a place where you can be yourself. Home is where I can enjoy a nice meal with my family. It doesn’t matter what or where we eat as long as we are together. At home we have snuggly movie nights with snacks. Home is a place where I feel safe and protected but also free. Home is where I can come and know that my family will always be proud of me. It is a place where I can go and know that everything is going to be okay. Home is where I can let all my worries and troubles fly away. Home is the place where my mom and dad are always trying to help me and my little sister be happy and I love them for that. Although I just really love them all the time. Sometimes there are some bumps along the way to being a family; but not one family or one home is perfect. That is what makes a home, a family, a family, and me a person because nobody is perfect and that is okay. Life is never perfect; you must go with it. You just must stay strong. Home is where I can feel anything, good or bad. It is a place where I am comfortable. Home is where the people who love and care about you are and it’s a place where you have a friend. Home is a place where you won’t be judged. Home is just anywhere you can be with the ones you love.
