The Meaning of Home

If you want to know what home means to me you are gonna have to go deeper into the paragraph to find out . Home is more than just a house its is where my mom and my brother live some of the things I hear are me and my brother disagreeing and my mom laughing over the phone ,are dogs barking and cats meowing these are some of the things that make my home feel like home. Some of the things I smell are my brother ,my brother has a unique smell kinda like a pineapple I also smell candles and my moms home made cooking , baking and my smelly smelly pets . some of the things that make me feel safe is the lock on my door ,my dad and my mom giving me hugs and my bed . If I didn't have a safe home some things I would miss are my kitchen that has fresh water the feeling of being safe, my furnishings, my pets and my bathroom . Some things I'm thankful for are a way to communicate , my safe drinking water , the structure being secure and that warm feeling that you get when you curl up in a blanket . I'm lucky to have all this , the house did catch on fire after 2 years we got the house rebuilt and we are all safe now and happy and just because something bad happens doesn't mean you can't fix it . I wish I could tell you how much I appreciate my home but it's time for me to go.
