Home to Me is Baking with Family and Friends

Home to me is baking with my family and friends. I see the gooey chocolate chip cookies baking in the steaming oven with chocolate running down the sides. I feel the soft cookie batter on my hands as I knead it. It sticks to my hands as I put it in the oven. When I smell the baking cookies they make me feel comfort as if a big blanket of warmth is wrapping around me. I taste the sweet chocolate melt in my mouth. The taste brings me back to the time when me and my grandma used to bake with each other. One of my favorite things to make is different types of cookies like butter scotch, chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar and lemon cookies. Baking with my family makes me feel loved. I love to bake with my family and take cookies to my relatives' homes to eat and share that special moment with everyone.
