A House Isn’t The Same As a Home

A house is a structure where you have a roof over your head, walls to block bad weather, a bed to sleep in, a kitchen to eat in and some electronics to play on. When you are in a car passing by houses sometimes you will look at one and think, that looks like an amazing house to live in, but it’s much better than you think. A great place where you can be yourself and have a great time in. It is called a home and everyone has a different idea of what a home is to them. A home to me is a house, but BETTER! If you are a gamer, you’re basically saying, “A home is like an upgraded house.” Home to me is also a place where there are no worries, you feel safe with your family, and you always come home from school to the glorious smell of dinner. On the weekend, it’s your time to spend with your family at home. Home to me is the sound my younger sisters crying, my other sisters watching T.V. My two older brothers playing video games, my mom cooking dinner, my dad working somewhere around the house and me probably playing with my brothers. You are always at home, as long as you are with your family in a structure having a great time making memories. My home doesn’t have to be at my house. I could be at my grandma’s house with my family and still be at home because I am with my family in a structure having a great time making memories. What makes our home special is what we do there. A home is a great place to be and I like it there.
