The Meaning of Home

When I arrive at my home, I always see my cats waiting there in the window for me to feed them. Even when it is not their dinner time. Also, I hear the birds chirping because no one is usually home. I feel safe at home because I imagine that nothing will happen to me there because I feel protected. On the weekend though when I wake up, I always smell food being cooked in the kitchen. My home is one of my favorite places to be when I am having a tough time. When I’m at the dinner table with a homemade meal, I am always grateful for having warm food. Me and my family always talk to each other and tell stories of what happened about the day. There is a lot of room in my home to play sports like hockey and soccer, and for me and my family to spend time together. Also, there is room to work out so I get better at sports. In my home, I have my own bedroom to play games and have fun. My home is special to me, and I am grateful that I have a home.
