The Meaning of Home

A home is a place to feel safe and loved. A home is a place to have sleepovers and play games with your friends. It’s more than a house because it is full of memories. My home is a special place because I feel loved and respected there. It has my pets in it and all my toys. My home has lots of food and I am so grateful for that. My favourite part of my home is my basement where I play hockey. I feel happy and joyful. I hear my hockey stick rattling on the ground and I just feel so safe there. Everyone needs a home because they need to feel warm and have a place to sleep and make memories. They need a home to feel cozy with their family members and to have lots of laughter and traditions.
