My Comfortable Home

What does your home feel like to you? My home is like a light when the sky is dark, and a shade when the sun is bright. During dark times, my home covers me from all my negative feelings. My home provides shelter, and that’s only one of the many things my home provides. During, night, when I’m in bed, my home feels safe from the cold, and windy night. On the days when it rains, my home keeps me dry while I read and study. When I come back home from school, I feel lucky for having a comfy place where I feel belonged. At home I can be myself and don’t need to worry about small things. In the living room, I can watch TV and play games. And I don’t need to worry about being wet and cold because I know I have a roof on top of my head that keeps me warm and safe. In the kitchen, we have a nice space where we can freeze, heat, and cook our food. Our home gives us storage for everything we have, and I’m grateful for all the things my nice home provides. And that’s why I love my home.
