The Meaning of Home

Home is not just a place where I come home from school to sleep; it is a feeling. My home is the best place in the world because of the loved ones who live there, not just the structure where we live together. They are my mom, dad, dog, and of course, ME! Our dog Daisy and I love going for walks, playing outside, and relaxing. My dog gives me kisses. She makes me feel happy! My mom and I love reading together, making bracelets, cooking, and dancing. My mom helps me with my homework. She makes me feel special. Together, my dad and I go hiking and play boardgames. My dad takes me to dance everyday. He makes me feel loved. As a family, we love to read in my room and play boardgames at the dinner table. My family helps me in so many different ways like taking me to dance class, helping me with my homework, or giving me wet doggy kisses. Home is not just a place I come home after school to sleep, home is a feeling.
