What Home is To Me
“A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built of love and dreams.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
What does home even mean, you may ask? Some people may think that a bigger house means a better home, but that may not be true. The size of a house doesn’t define what people feels that lives in it.
For me, a home isn’t just a place, it’s a feeling. It’s where my family is, and where I find my comfort. It is a place where I feel secure and loved. It is a place where I am nurtured, and a place where I can learn. It is a place where God is with us. It is where I find my joy, and where I grow to become good, kind, and a God-loving person.
It is my first school of education about, life, love, family, and most importantly God.
It is where I develop my talents, traits, and get to know about myself and what I like.
It is where I learn to be respectful to others, appreciating things, and be thankful for all the blessings we get every single day.
All of our homes aren’t the same. In fact, all of them are different. But to me, home is a place where I’m with my family, where I can be myself, and where I fit in. So, what is your home like?
