Meaning of Home

My dog's nails clicking and clacking on my old, squeaky floorboards. My brother bouncing on our trampoline. The sun beaming down on the living room. The creamy chicken parmesan that my dad cooks so well. Sleep without a thought in mind. Talking at dinner with my family. Home is a place where I can rest after a long day at school. Playing baseball at the park with my friend. Dog hair littering the wood floors. At home I'm filled with laughter, safety, and happiness. Home is not a physical space, it is a place where friends, family and heart are.
