Home vs. House

A house is empty walls. It has no joy. It is just carpet, wood and floors. There are no toys. A home is a place where you have family and friends. It is full of joy and peace. It has the people that care about you. There are fun pictures of my family on the wall. Brothers and sisters to play with, And lots of toys. A mom who makes supper every day for us. A dad that works hard for us. I have a cozy bed to sleep in. My tiny, dirty dog who runs up to me when I come home. She barks and runs around me, showing how much she loves me. My home is a safe place to live. It is the best thing I’ll ever have!
